Shopping List

Ok, so this is (so far) my shopping list for the holiday:
- White sheer shirt (would look AWESOME with denim shorts, black bikini and cateye sunglasses)
- Red wedges
- Cateye Sunglasses
- Wayfarers
- Swimmers x 22 - my pairs are broken </3
- Floppy hat!
- Denim shorts
- Asos beach cover up
- Strappy wedges
- Envelope Bag
- Little black boots with a bow on them

So basically, I'm trying to fill in the gaps in my wardrobe before I'm off to bask in the sun for a week. I just hope I'll have enough....

Room designs.

Thinking of re-decorating my room and I'm trying to find inspiration.
Ergo the various decorating photos.
I know they aren't of bedrooms, but I want to try to replicate that classy, charming, warm and welcome feel, whilst making it very modern, whilst also adding a touch of moi. :)

- Random newspaper print backpack - I really need a comfortable bag to take to uni! Handbags just don't cut it.
2. What this weather is making me crave/want/NEED:
- old navy jumpers
- palazzo pants (can't remember)
- Hot chocolate + Lounge + Movies + boyfriend = cold weather bliss. :)
The other photo is just a picture of the Gold Coast - where my bf and I will be in 41 days....whoop whoop! Aren't I lucky that this beautiful place is just a one and a half hour train ride and then a one and a half hour flight away? I love Australia. :) <3.....and I talk to much. Sorry!

Strawberry Yoghurt

It might be weird, but if I want fruit in my yoghurt, it has to e fresh fruit. I never trust that the 'fruit' lumps in yoghurt is ACTUAL fruit. Thus: my strawberry yoghurt. :)
I'm about to go and wake up my boyfriend so that he can get ready for night shift - him working nightshift so often lately has really made me appreciate how much time we got to spend together back when I was still in High School and he was chefing. :(
THen, once he's off to work, I'm going to buckle down and try to finish my 2 1500 word essays by the time I have to go to work in....18 hours. :) Which means I'm probably going to blog a lot in the next 18 hours, haha.

Currently sitting in my 4 hour economics lecture, dreaming of my upcoming Gold Coast holidays. I can't wait for sun + shorts + glasses. I'm sick of wearing hundreds of layers so that I don't become a Popsicle. It really is like I don't live in Australia, when it's winter....

Olympics

Starting tomorrow, I'm going to start working my ass off to become an eventer again. I know it's far-fetched, but I really do wish that one day I could ride in the Olympics for Australia.....

Last night was pretty fun, but now I have to buckle down today. :(
My to-do list:
- 2000 word economic essay + presentation
- 2000 word consumer behaviour essay + presentation
- List of event and project management tasks - there's no end of things to do when planning events!
- Create sheets for tutoring
- Buy theme park tickets for my Gold Coast holiday in September
- Buy mums birthday present
- Find something for dad for fathers day
- Keep trying to learn French - perhaps I'm just not destined to be bi-lingual?
- Find the motivation to do all of this.....
Anyway, here are a few things I've been needing/wanting/lusting after for a while/a few days/forever.

Both dress + skirt from betts. But my, oh my, I do love that skirt.....

At times....

I wish my bestfriends weren't all guys.
If they were girls, I could probably wear heels and dress' and nice things on outings, as opposed to my usual jeans and a warm jacket that I wear to see my guy mates.
We'd probably go shopping and out to nice clubs or restaurants rather than playing xbox and going to pubs.
I could actually talk to them about issues in my life, as opposed to my 'I don't know what feelings are!' guy mates.
But then, I remember all of the bitching and the back-stabbing and the competitiveness that came with female friendships, and I remember being sad more often than not.
So really......I wouldn't change my best friends for the world. :)

Day 07 - A picture of your most treasured item

Wow, I really do suck at this keeping a blog going thing. =S Uni is such a drain though. -.-
Just a few photos from last Saturday night. I spent the night at the pub with some of the best boys in town at the Tuneout Music Festival Reunion Party. Quite a good night - except for the fact that I was deso so I couldn't drink. :(
Tonight, I'm going to Picton pub with the guys again. Hopefully it'll be a good one. :)
