Some pictures and quotes.

I miss these guys so much. :( (I have pink hair in this)

Hmmmm.

I wish I could get a tattoo as damn gorgeous as these. Can't get over them. :)

A drawing by Silvia Prada. She has a book out with all her insane pencil illustrations (such as the one above).

Paris II by Sarah Larnach
Esra Rose by Sarah Larnach
Sarah Larnach is an amazing artist. She designed the cover art for LadyHawke, worked with French video director, Michel Fondry, headed the Art Loves Haiti initiative and draws wicked things like this, amongst other things.

Lissy Trullie. Former model; inspiration behind Moses (son of Oscar) de la Renta's first collection; singer/songwriter; EP 'Self Taught Learner' released and sensational, although it's not normally my cup of tea. Seems like she's out to conquer the world, to be honest.

All the best people are mad.

So I've gone a little Alice In Wonderland crazy. Considering it's an epic movie though, I'd say it's fine. :) Taking a little break from my Pride and Prejudice studying to bring a little madness. :] Have a good one. x.

Friday Afternoon. (L)

daily-nail.blogspot.com Seriously, look her up. She's insane. :) 365 days of a new nail design everyday. I give her major kudos for being so creative. :)

‘A deeper understanding of relationships and identity emerges from pursuing the connections between Pride and Prejudice and Letters to Alice on First Reading Jane Austen.’

Compare how these texts explore relationships and identity.

Last years HSC Advanced English Module A question. And it'll only be a harder one this year. Fuuuuck.

Might post again today. Might not. We'll see. ;]

Inspire Me. Please.

Don't you hate those days where you wake up, and everything just goes downhill from there? Have some inspiration, on a day that truly bites ass. :)

Lady Of The Evening

This vest is all kinds of awesome. Lace + denim. Pity its for 128 or some other ridiculous amount. (N)
A Day To Remember live. Saw them at Soundwave, and although they were aces, I wasn't blown away, which was a bit disappointing. Apparently, they were 'saving it until their sideshow' which to me is cheap as hell, as sideshows were for the undedicated kids who couldn't be assed going to Soundwave. They should get the shit show. (Y)

Although, Gallows apparently did a GREAT sidewave, as well as how f ' ing great they were at Soundwave. :D

^ ^ ^ ^ Kudos to this band as well. Saw them play once at Bridge 54, then again at St Marys with a band I manage. They are really good, and one of those gigs they played without a bassist, so already they have my respect. Regardless, they put on a fairly decent show, especially considering they haven't been around for all that long, and their music is just skilled as hell. I'm going t be seeing them again soon -hopefully- at a Thy Art Is Murder and Lady Of The Evening + other bands gig in a week or twos time, so looking forward to then. In the meantime, check them out. They are very much worth it. :)

Thinking of starting a new blog as well, but about how I want to better myself as a person, and how I go about doing that, but I'm not sure if that would be a fail with a capital EPIC or not? Hmmm. Need to give it some thought.

x.

Yeah, brother.

Frank Carter - frontman of Gallows. To be honest, the best front man I have ever seen. And they are the best live band I have ever seen. :)
Still very very much hooked on Gallows. I joined their 'rats' fan club thing, and got a free download of their minute long song 'Gold Dust.' Join the club of theirs, and get the song as well! It's an epic 59 second song. :)

So I have been friends with this band (Silent Screams) on Myspace for quite a while now, but I haven't really listened to them until tonight, but my god, they are aces, brother! :) If I had a working iTunes on my computer, I would download their shizz in a second. (Y)

They are hardcore/death metal/metalcore, so not exactly for the easy Sunday listening. :) They are also apparently touring Australia very soon, so that is indeed exciting. :) It's as if a lot of good bands are suddenly paying attention to this little corner of the world. :)

(Onto more trivial matters) I love this pair ^^^ Their fucking gorgeous. But for 129 American?!?! I really don't have that much. -.-

These pairs are ok too, but not as nice. More like....a rip off version of the above ones.

I had a pretty good weekend.
Partied and got up to general no-good all weekend. :) Only came home to sleep, and that was in the wee hours. It's great, having your licence and your own car. (Y)
Only downer was a fucking whore hitting on one of my best friends, who borke up with his girlfriend not 2 hours before hand. 'STOP STANDING OVER MY LAP LIKE A WHORE' means STOP STANDING OVER HIS FUCKING LAP LIKE A WHORE! -.-
Although, the next morning apparently they fucked, or looked like they were. Lovely. Nothing better to kill your opinion of someone than to act like a whore, or to accept that whore. (Y)
Oh well. Off to bed....not going to do my Ancient History essay tonight. Augustus isn't going anywhere. :)

Hmm.

Still trying to decide what direction I want to take with this blog. Maybe I just need to find the perfect topic so I can actually dedicate myself to write on it everyday. Hmmm.
One thing I'll say is I am officially in LOVE with Gallows (the band, not the execution device). They are THE best live performers I have EVER seen. If you ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever get the chance to see them....DO IT!!! DO NOT HESITATE!!!
I'm going to kill to get a ticket to their next Australian tour (if they ever realise how fucking great we are and actually come out and visit us).......COME AND TOUR AUSTRALIA SOON, GALLOWS! :D

haha. Pure win. (Y)

I love getting home at 10pm because of Stage Managing. (Y)

I'm currently making ripped jeans. I just need to visit a place with a washer and drier so that they can be nice and 'destroyed' :)

-Once again, I wrote this last night, but didn't post it until today. I'm so talented. :)

Back In Black. :)

New boots, skirt and (not shown) $20 black skinny jeans. Win. :)
Pixie Lott is amazing. Everyone should listen to her. :)

Uni tomorrow. :)

I'm horrible at this, already. It's 11:17 pm, and I'm writing this, when I really need to go to bed....although, I would love to have another few hours to watch the Hills, and read Cosmopolitan UK edition. -.-

Alas, I need to get up at 6am tomorrow morning, as I have a University of Wollongong taster day tomorrow. ALLLLLLLLL business or music/entertainment lectures tomorrow. Fuck yes. :)

Gosh I love Megan Fox. She's just so great, with her tattoo's, and her awesome looks and clothes. Tbh, if I could look like her, I would do nothing but stare at the mirror all day. Evidently, no one can look like her, but still, if I could, I would jump at the chance. :) Anyway, enough of my girl crush. :P
This picture just looked amazing. I'm a big fan of when people where dark, or usual colours, like black, or grey, and then liven it up with a burst of bright colour, like this pink. It just works so well, and really seems to emphasise the colour, and make it 'pop'.
This got posted to me today. :D Sosososososososososo excited for it to get here. :)
Escape The Fate - I SEE THEM AT SOUNDWAVE IN A FEW WEEKS! If you don't know what soundwave is, it's a huge festival in Australia, with some of the best international bands playing. It's going to be great. They are going to be great. I'm so excited. :) Bryan (second from right) is particularly gorgeous. :)
I'm also going to this with one of my best friends, Matt. Don't get to see him much, outside of gigs like Bridge 54, so it'll be great spending a whole day with him. Good company + good music = pure blissss! Just need to figure out what to wear to the best festival in Australia. :)
